Article 7 explains how many state ratifications are needed in order for the proposed constitution to take place in the United States and how a state could go about ratifying the constitution. Article 7 of the Constitution is just one sentence long.
Article 6 of the Constitution says that any debts that the country was involved in before the constitution was created, are still valid. Article 6 of the constitution also says that the Constitution is the highest law of the country and that all federal officers and judges must follow the Constitution and it's rules. Article 6 of the constitution is three clauses long.
Article 5 of the constitution is the article that says how the Constitution can be changed. The only way to change the Constitution is by adding an amendment. Article five is broken down by only one section.
Article 4 of the Constitution is the section that talks about the states. Article 4 talks about the responsibilities and duties of the states as well as what responsibilities the federal government has to the states. Article 4 is broken down into four different sections. These sections are broken down into further clauses.
Article 3 of the constitution establishes the Judicial branch of the federal government. The Judicial branch comprises the Supreme Court of the United States and lower courts as created by Congress. Article 3 has 3 sections that explains Judicial powers, Treason, and enumerated powers.
Article 2 of the Constitution is the section that makes the Executive branch of the government. The Executive branch of government is the branch that has the responsibility and authority for the administration throughout the day of the state. There are four sections in article 2 that are divided into multiple clauses.
Article 1 of The Constitution gives Congress (Legislative branch) it's powers and limits. Legislative makes the laws for the United States. The article also creates two sections of Congress. (Bicameral Legislature) Article 1 is broken up into 10 sections, within each section, there are multiple clauses explaining different points.
